Already this Saturday, 24 March, in our company will take place the first hackathon Distributed Magento Contribution Day, during which participants will work with an international group to improve the Magento code, becoming part of the Magento community.
Hackathon will be held under the guidance of key Magento programmers and architects and will be chaired by mentor- Igor Miniailo, who has been working for Magento for 6 years and who has created many functionalities. He currently works in the Community Engineering team and runs the Multi-Source Inventory project.
Participants will have a choice of several different thematic tracks and tasks to perform, among the functionalities, which will be developed are creating tests, common review code, testing code and analyzing the results, as well as creating a Pull Request to the industry develop Magento2.
Through live stream we will connect with participants from Spain, Ukraine, Slovakia, Argentina, the Netherlands, Great Britain and Australia, which will be an opportunity to confront your ideas with programmers from all over the world and broaden your knowledge.
